Project Description
This project involved replacing and significantly increasing the size of an existing patio.
Unfortunately, the original patio had been constructed using timber sleepers as retaining walls. Over time, the sleepers had rotted, causing the surrounding structure and patio to deteriorate and become unstable.
We completely removed the existing patio before excavating new foundations and constructing proper retaining walls to provide a strong, long-lasting structure. The area was then built up with a new sub-base, which was carefully levelled and compacted before laying the new porcelain paving.
The finished result is a much larger, modern porcelain patio with correctly constructed retaining walls and solid foundations, providing the customers with an attractive and durable outdoor space that will last for many years.
The customers were extremely pleased with the finished project.
